I really like the simplicity of this pattern-


I think I'm going to try some with long marabou fibers taking the place of the pheasant tail fibers.

Not your problem, it's the settings on the video.

Just click on the video window and it acts like a link to the video.

Just took a look at all of the videos by Tightline productions on Vimeo. They are some of the best that I have seen. They really explain how to tie the fly and provide some great suggestions on improvements. I learned some new tricks.

Beauty! Thanks Big Cliff. I love the PT soft-hackle, I've been tying variations for years and it is my go-to fly. I love the touch-dubbed collar.
