Griffin Montana Mongoose vise 149.50

Peak Rotary Vise 143.95

This will be my first vise. I have no idea which way to go from here. Any suggestions to make it final. I am ready to order as soon as i decide.

If you are looking at these in a shop, I'd ask to tie a fly on each and see what one you like better. I have a Dyna King cuda Jr.

I like the Peak Rotory Vise. I have tied on it and like it very much. The Peak Rotory Vise is the most recommended $100-$199 Vise by Hans Weilenmann on FlyFisherman.com.

I have not had the chance to tie on the Mongoose.

Here is a better price for you on the Peak Rotory Vise plus free shipping. Hard to beat I would think.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Terry

My favorite bobbins are made by Griffin, and they have held up very well over the years. Can't offer much more unfortunately, other than agreeing that using both before you decide is wise.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
