Default Easier method to add eyes to a number of patterns

Take a piece of plastic(clear) like that used in the collars of new shirts , cut a piece into about a 1/2 square then cut that square into a triangle. Place your eye of choice on the plastic cut off the excess around the eye use the remaining triangle area to tie in along fly side . Cover with epoxy---hard as nails or whatever. fast and easy to do. flytyerjack71@yahoo.com

Easier= Sharpie

Your ideal sounds like a good one, and would work well to keep doll eyes on a fly though. Seems like it would only work on flies nearly as thick as a pencil though.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
