Like Ard,unfortunately I also didn't know Bob,however it's a very sad day when we loose one of our Clan of Fly Fishers/Flytiers,especially to The Dreaded Cancer,a very thoughtful posting & a wonderful tribute.

His Cripple patterns has been my favorite when fishing the various Drake hatches. I'm planning to fish Green Drakes in a couple days on a local river and I will certainly send a heartfelt 'Thank you' skyward before the first cast.

And yes, I too will pour a sip.
