I am tying this fly for first time, This sunday I am taking a freind and going to miricale mile on the platte river to do some fishing, What is the suggested trailer for this fly and how long should it be? I am going with a brown and a olive green pattern, maybe a black just in case. I havent fished this early in year here either, I waited till march last year, Would I throw this up stream and just float it in front of me, or throw and strip it back? Appreciate any advice on this. Also if you recomend and other cold weather flies.
