Default here's what 1.5 hours at the bench looks like for me.

Started this fly ar$e about face as my grandfather used to say!

Wings first, married single strips of fibers - 1.50 hrs!!

The hook (about 4/0 xl) then got put in the vise and the tail, and half the body put on.

Sould get it finished tonight.

Any guesses to the pattern? (the woodie is part of it)

Tell you what. Since its the season of goodwill, for the first person to guess the pattern, I"ll send them the actual fly!!
One guess per person, and i'll accept guesses until 11pm (ET) tonight (Tuesday Dec 11), when i'll hopefully post the fly!

I would say The Kate unless you're using that entire duck feather.

The only thing I can think of is the Autumn Melange, which isn't that well known anyways.

My guess is a good looking fly! But I don't expect anything less from Eunan!

Don't have a clue what it will be, but you certainly brought a new flair to posting a thread...Very Very Cool Idea.
