Default Sturdy Spinner Wings?

I'm having a hard time finding a material for my spinner wings that doesn't collapse after a few casts. I've tried para-post material, hi-vis antron and sparkle organza (that I remember). After a few casts the wings end up folding back along the body and no longer splay out to the sides. What else is out there or what recommendations are there for getting the wings to stay splayed, cast after cast?

Default Re: Sturdy Spinner Wings?

When I finally started using poly yarn for spinner wings (spent wing patterns) I tied the poly in with a figure eight wrap and put a little lacquer on the base of each wing. That helped.
