In seriousness, this guy has good soft hackles for short dollars. For collars and streamers, its hard to beat. He's a good guy to deal with.

In that particular configuration, I can see that being a great Salmon Fly, or better still Baracuda, Grouper, or even a Sharkbait. The doggy would give the hackle a "lifelike" motion, and that splash of Red will be a great attractor.
I would wrap the dog in Silver Mylar though.

What do you call this fly, by the way? "The Pooch" or "Fido Feather Crimson" or___________?
