To all my fellows of the Fin and Fur fraternity, A Merry Christmas wish to you from the Great Lakes Region of Ontario. May your tippets never knot, your knots never be the weakest link...and your lines be as tight as reasonably possible. Appreciate those around you especially those that give you the time to do the things you like...like fishing. Eat good, drink when the occasion presents...and again, most of all...Love well!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks flytire. Best to you and your family too.

Thanks for the video on microfibetts too. I've used it on a number of ties. Made a world of difference (the thread loop around the bend method).

Merry Christmas gang. It's been a GOOD year here with you all. Hope ya get some fishing equipment under the tree,,but mostly I wish you health and a smile. Myself, I 'think' I have a couple Whiting rooster capes...let the hint out early on what I needed. That'll sure put a smile on MY face !

And to all who have little children in their lives,,,love them,,,there is NOTHING better on this ancient earth than the little kids. You can say a prayer for us tonight, (esp for Toni) if you wish,,,it's a happy and sad time. We lost a grandson Sept 9, 2012. But we are grateful for the wonderful grand-kids that are with us. Two boys, Damien and Clayton,,,are getting fishing rods. I got Clayton a little push button deal,,he's only 4. Got 7 year old Damien an Eagle Claw fly rod and set it up. He's pretty much my fishing buddy anyways...not a grown up qualified caster yet,,but he does pretty dang good for a 7 year old. He fully understands the basics so to speak.

Again , hug them youngan's fellas. My best to you and thanks for letting me part a few thoughts on the board tonight.

Mike
