Default Bleached and double dyed french Partridge

Well last weeks fly tying classes were great, we were tying up goslings and may fly patterns and one of the problems was the mallard flanks always tend to twist.
During the week i had an idea of bleaching the french Partridge and double dyeing it to try out on goslings.
BINGO!!
when i tied up mays and goslings i got the same effect but the feathers just wound in greta and i spent the whole day tying up a selection.
I now have a good stock done so my flies are now tied with this.
here is the colours i did and some of the flies produced.
Believe me the effort put in paid off.
