I don’t know about a specific book for Matukas, but Charlie Craven’s site has an excellent series of step by steps for many patterns, so here’s another resource for you in addition to the excellent MacPhail vid posted by Woven

Here’s his tutorial for the Matuka
Charlie's FlyBox - Colorado's Best FlyShop and online Fly Tying Tutorials

Think of it as a style of tying rather than a specific pattern—and feel free to use different colors, sizes and materials (I generally use hen but webby rooster feathers work too.)

Other flies like Zonkers tied with rabbit strips, use a similar technique to bind down the wing
