Default Re: What is this fly called?

CDC actually comes from the top of the tail right at the base.not the butt...There is only a small amount of feathers there, and one reason they are so expensive..Problem is after being washed, disinfected, and dyed there is no oil left in them..I use Cul-De-Chicken, which is treated to be water proof..CDC works because of the make up of the feather itself.
