that shuttle weave is awesome! once you get the hang of it, its not as complicated as youd think! i just made a fly with a weave made out of black and yellow chenille. im sure some gills would hit it. ill post a pic when i get a chance.

it does make for an interesting effect...I wonder what the hookup rate is compared to the same fly with the only difference being a multi colored woven, crochet, etc body.

this is brown with gold on the bottom, made shiney little gold bumps down the side.
