Default Deal I Couldn't Refuse on the New Regal Revolution & More Plus Question

Well I had couple rods that I'll never use any more so I took them into a local Fly Shop for their trade in program. Plus the owner allowed a friend who just started working there to give me his discount on a Regal Revolution plus no Sales Tax.

So I am now the proud owner Regal Revolution! I'm feeling spoiled! I think I might even be able to figure how to do some of the things with it that can be done on the Nor Vice.

I also bought a bunch of tying materials and some tools and didn't have to pay sales tax on them either.

Is anyone here familiar with the Hook & Hackle Choice Saddles and Capes and/or their Half Necks?

I've read here that the Premium Saddles and Capes are top Notch, but for now I'd like to try the Choice or even Half Necks to save a little money as I have spent quite a bit so far this month and I am still planning on buying a couple rod blanks and components.

Congrats on the vise, I am supremely jealous. I hear great things about the Revolution vise. I want one with the big game jaws...but the price is way way way out of my league. Maybe one of these days...

I have not tried the hackle you mentioned. I like Conranch hackle the best.
