Put that egg on the end of your leader, then run another foot of tippet off and trail the egg with the stone. Looks like you're all set for some GL trib fishing

Golden Stonefly...I used a turkey biot for the wing case. I think I prefer using mottled turkey feather instead. I like the aesthetics of the turkey feather a little better.

A little extra dubbing in the head area and those would be good to go imho.. heads look a little small

Today I tied up a couple new guys.. some rubber legged CJs.. Red/Wine #12.. I just love wire bodies

Spent last night watching Breaking Bad and prepping a few panfish poppers that will be given away as a X-mas gift. Another layer of paint and then the tying will start.
