I tied up a dozen more eggs in 12 and 14 in a variety of colors. I also created a satellite egg variant with a veil...it was a pain doing the small pom poms, and is an egg cluster pattern so i call it the cluster@#$% lol. It's geared to the hungry steelheadClick the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.

I tied up a few Copper Johns in Black, Gold and Copper tonight. I feel like my CJ's are finally starting come together. I also tried a few using black Ostrich Herl instead of Peacock Herl. I'll have to see how it fishes. Have any of you ever used Ostrich before? How'd it do?

Nymphs as of late. In another post Kelly put together a SBS of a Unique Leg Technique for nymphs. I was inspired, and it changed the game for me. Here are a few different PT's, just different sizes and colors.

I didn't tie this(way beyond my feeble skills!), it was tied by my dad and I love the pattern so I thought I would share.

That's really well done! The profile is an excellent match for a stone. I haven't tied stones in a while but the last time I did, I flattened out the wraps of tin to make a flatter wider profile just like a stone--just like your father's tie. Really great profile.

I tried doing the woven thing and got frustrated, I never could get it, gave up and went back to my traditional way of tying whichever pattern.

That body looks like it would make a killer cress bug pattern. Wish I could do those woven bodies too.
