While there are lots of winter fishing oppurtunities here... nothing beats the feeling of steel at the end of your rod

I just started tying Clousers the other day and next thing you know.. I've done a dozen.. and then some.. plus a couple bunny strip patterns I whipped up...

At the Royalty Centre tying club last night. Lots of salmon flies being created. I am going to have to think about taking the plunge.
For now...tied up a couple of sketter variations. I used clipped hen neck hackle for the body. I think it gives it a buggier feel.
