Pocono, you tie the tail in between the beads, the bead helps to flare the tail too. I've see a few streamers done like that with a short tuft of rabbit strip tied in off the end and whom ever tied it painted the beads different colors it was pretty cool.

Thread build up between the last two beads. When thread is built up to almost same size as beads, then I attached the biot. Coated thread with SHHAN.

Joni, sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well.

When I was young, the heat didn't bother me. When I spent time up north, and came back home, I found the summers to be very hard to deal with. The winters here are not nearly as bad though, that makes up for it. I actually live not far from the Louisiana border.

Yup, I can see it now on your pic; thanks. I should have known that SHHAN would be in the mix!

Branching out a bit in spun deer hair direction. I like the pink machine. Sea run brookies like the shrimp pink so looking forward to trying it. Green are improving a bit. Also shown some head cemented guinea wing patterns in red and pink, and jungle cock emerger that looks promising. Few other goodies.

happy holidays

Reworked the Letort Cricket a bit, not that there was anything wrong with it but if theres wind its a tough booger to cast accurately so hopefully this little guy can cut through and look a little more like a natural. Tied on a TMC 200R in #10

Flytier, palomino midges have accounted for more trout on selective midge days than any other I've fished, what's the abdomen on the first two? By the way those RS2's are pretty slick too and I dig your site too I check it out alot.
