It's an old Lami MB114 3M, my buddy's favorite surf rod, I'm updating it for him. It has orange thread base on it, getting ready for a dec wrap.

Yup, out of production for a while now. I have two closely guarded ones in my closet. Awesome bucktail rod and it works a pencil popper like no other rod I've ever fished

Got this lovely badger cape dyed sunburst from Laurie and just having a good time with some bright arctic fox, tinsel and a front hackle of furnace hen followed by the sunburst. Not entirely sure why as the nearest steelhead fishing is at least 500 miles north... Must be winter....

Throws a Gibbs Darter a mile and works it perfect. I have a 9 , 11 and 13 footer that haven't seen the water in quite a while! Brings back good thoughts! Great sticks with lots of bass in their past! Might have to take them for a spin this year if I can find the Crack and 706 that go with them!
