Nice ties guys, and welcome Stefan!

TB, that streamer is intended for a particular big brown, hopefully he likes my offering... It's become the white whale to my Ahab. I've seen it the last two times I've gone to the particular stream, but its surrounded by a cadre of smaller, eager-to-eat fish.

And as far as where I've been, traveling a lot and bouncing back and forth between Buffalo and Cleveland, as well as active with a view different things of the digital persuasion... trying to get back to active on here!

Ive gained interst in a few DEEP runs on the Mighty Colorado. Its taking a bunch of weight to hit the bottom through there and i know theres some piggies in there. Girdle bug seems to be working well but only with 18lbs of weight in front of them. So i started tying some tungsten conehead girdles with various colors of Krystal Flash in the antennae and tail. A few without the tung. cone worked well yesterday but couldnt get deep enough in those runs. Ill let you all know how it goes!

It doesn't say how thick they are, but they aren't too thick, maybe 1/8 inch. I found that pack at Walmart.

I got some Carry Stevens streamer hooks and have been tying some of those. I decided to do one with a blue/white color scheme. It doesn't show very well in the photo, but the dubbing in the body is mixed with fine pearl UV ice wing.
