yea they've been kind of Hit or Miss.
first time i used them, killed it
then 3 days later on same stream and NOTHING,
but when they were working, fishing were hitting it so hard as soon as it hit the water that some of them were fully breaking surface, weird.

BTW; i should add, they were very easy to tie, try some

Thumbs up Re: What have you been tying today?

You guys are making me envious! I can't wait until this week is over and I can get back into tying again. I have an order in for some materials, which I'm hoping will arrive soon. I have an "order" I need to fill for some bugs that Chi requested Damn near 1/2 of what I tie goes to him.

romanl and enola---love your flies. Very nicely done!

I decided to play around with some peacock streamers. The one I didn't use bead eyes so when I got to the end, I decided that I wanted a purple head

My flies really suck but its still fun hoping a bass or something might chomp on it.

I'm trying to expand my horizon and tie some things that I've never done before.
This is my first attempt at a tan caddis emerger. I used deer hair and some gold wire ribbing. Any feedback on the overall look? I gotta fine tune this stuff
