That is impressive. I spun a little deer hair the other night, just a small hunk, and man I am not good at that. It takes me forever and I'm really impressed with how you get it packed that tight. But the color spots really knock me out, how in haitis do you do that?

That's some fine deer hair spinning. I never put that much effort into it because the places I fish stuff like that, the flies get so torn up after a few fish it doesn't seem worth it to me. But, being that compacted probably makes it more durable.

Anyway, I got all my tails done and mounted to the main hook for my Meal tickets so I can send them out for the fly swap Im in.

"Big Horn?

There... the Provo, Ozarks and some other places back East where my son Michael is now working over. I'm also going to use some of these as attractors, in waters here in the Sierras, where Isopoda(s) are not present... I will let ya' know how that works out...

Definitely great flies on the Provo. I killed it on the Big Horn a few years back with that soft hackle pattern you show.

Ted4887,

man I have been tying for a good while and I still can't stack and spin deer hair that good. Hell of a job, can't wait to see the other ones you tie.
