Replacing the AK. Assassin flies on standard salmon hooks. What was left were stained and torn up. I have six done and will do six more then post a shot of my King box when it's restocked.

Revisited the T&L based on a members suggestion for a fuller wing, of course this led to other changes. Good or Bad we will let the fish decide

IMO you got some skills at the vise. Nice tie!

.....but if you catch a fish in the Platte on one of those you gotta scoop LOL.

Got any "trout" flies in your arsenal ?

Working on the salmon box for kings, the hot pink AK. Assassin's are all new ties and some of the Skykomish are new. I'm going to redo Freight Trains because they look pretty torn up. The Assassin is the king fly on every trip, the Skykomish every time for silvers. I use others but those 2 are the best all round. You can catch the fish on any fly but when you've identified something that always seems to draw a hit, well, I use that more.

NO ! That fly is not allowed in my fly box.

Reminds me of fishing with a salmon egg .

I'll stay tuned.
