Switched to a standard Mustad 9672 size 2 and the Clouser looks much better, also as I tie more I'm getting better proportions.

I tied up a couple of these last summer and the Bluegills loved them..even caught a few small small-mouths with it. Pheasant fibers for tail and ribbing, peacock herl dubbing for body and a small thorax covering..and this 'copper wire' looking dubbing I bought last year. Barred rubber legs and pheasant tail fiber 'antenna.' They do work on pan-fish type creatures.
