Stillwading: those are real beauties! I've just begun tying feather wing streamers and love seeing new patterns. I'm still working on the simple patterns with much fewer materials and I am really tempted to try that Golden Witch ... but I know better than to get that far ahead of myself. Thanks for sharing those.

El Diablo is naughty looking little fella! You should send that in to Fly Tyer or one of the other glossies, it is catchy enough that they might publish it.

I Love It....Mikey's El Diablo

Do you your recipe and can share? Also, what species are you envisioning testing it on? I am always thinking Steelhead...so, for me, this in a size 8....maybe with a orange bead head (I am a beadhead junkie...hah).

Great job

King Joe Outa Here!

Flyguy that el diablo is really sweet, looks good for both warm and cold water species... from carp to GL steelhead.

There are a few bays up by my cabin in NW Wisconsin that the pike like to hang out in just after they spawn to fatten up on the crappies that move in staging for their spawn... Hopefully these will fool a few of them pikes.

Me too! Those are fun to tie ... No deer hair! I really do like the fly though, simple and effective.
