Dan,

They have, essentially, what we have here (insects have a way of getting themselves spread around the planet). I don't actually know about stoneflies, so I would probably stay on the safe side with mayflies and caddis. As I mentioned in a previous post, the best producing fly for me in Japan was a para Adams #18!
