We went out this morning and a little
of early afternoon. Rich landed 25 on
the girdle bug. He caught a mixture
of browns and brooks. Biggest brown
was 14ish and biggest brookie 12ish.
Rich had one brown break him off
that was about 18 i guess.

I batted clean up and caught 18. Mine
were a mixture of browns and brookies.
Biggest browns 17/16/16/15 inches.
Biggest brookie 13ish.

Len: Great photos, thanks for posting. I have to agree the girdle bug did the trick for us on the Colorado River this past summer.

What girdle bug were you using, I have never fished one, thouhgt I might try one, but when I look it up, I am seeing tons of different varieties.

Hi everyone,

Here are a couple of pictures of a Girdle Bug. The small ones are terrific for Sun Fish.
