Default Keys for TIGER Trout

Last night I looked at my log books for the last *8* years.
I went back until I found the year I discovered stream born tigers
in my home water.

I tried to see if the streams had any similarities.

All the streams were small.
All the streams had small pebbles in area.
All streams that I caught a tiger in had a spring within 20 yards of the area I caught a tiger.
6 of the tigers were right where the spring emptied in to the small stream.

Len: Very nice looking fish!
The only tiger trout that I know of in Wyoming are in High Savory Reservoir just west of Saratoga, WY, but those fish are all sterile. I have fished over there a couple times hoping to land a tiger but haven't yet. The lake is situated in an east-west direction, the same direction of the prevailing wind so it is hard to find a day when the wind isn't causing the water to white cap. I guess I just need to buy a trolling motor, that way I won't have to worry about getting blown to the south end ot the lake and not being able to row back to the boat ramp.
High Savery Reservoir Wyoming. Fish High Savery Reservoir. High Savery* State records
