So as I posted before, I am new, but I had a great morning, and I want to share it with all of you.
Here are the pics. They aren't great (camera phone);in fact, they aren't even good; in fact, they aren't even crappy. I apologize for the quality, but I didn't want to take the good camera out if it was going to rain.

The first 3 are of the same fish. The 4th one was an awesome male that I wish I got a better shot. The 6th pic is of the monster hen. I took pics of 4 of the 5. One was an 'old general' that was too beat up for pictures.
This was on the Pike, in and around Petrifying Springs, between 6:30 and 9:30 this morning. Water height: 2.4 feet, good visibility, lots of suckers (caught 3), pre-rain.
I never caught more than 3 fish in a day and usually only catch 1 or 0. So I had a great day and am really happy that practice keeps paying off.
I also wanted to let you guys know that I got my older brother involved in fly fishing in October. He finally caught his first fish (he's 33) last Saturday...a 22" steelhead hen. I coached him through every drift and action he should've taken. Finally, after listening to my banter, it paid off. He was so excited. It was so great to see him do it...little brother knows some things.
