Default North Branch surprise!

Well I snuck up to the N Branch of the Ausable looking for some colored up fall brookies with the possibility of big one. We had sz. 22 olives coming of periodically, but no consistent risers. The weather was nice (75 sunny) and the brookies were uncharecteristically slow. I finally tied a Parachute Adams sz 16 on 5X with an 18" 6X dropper to a sz 22 brown beadhead caddis nymph. the second run I fished produced this guy. It's my biggest Brown (20") to date on Bamboo (7 1/2' 4 weight).
