Very nice, but (LOL!), somehow with my beginner skills, I can see my entire meager collection of flies hanging from the branches of that overhanging tree!

LOL! The mailman JUST dropped off a "care package" from J Stockard, so I guess I can begin to replenish the fly cache, and learn how to roll cast!!

I'd consider myself lucky to get my flies caught in that overhanging tree...that means my back cast didn't catch that wicked looking little shrub tree in the front of the picture! Roll cast indeed!

Len: That is indeed a beautiful area, I really enjoy your photos of the driftless area, maybe someday I will get out there and see it for myself. I can see where roll casting would be the way to go.
