Default Green River Wisconsin

Looking for some advice on fly selection for the Green River in SW Wisconsin, what patter and size do you like on the Green River? I realize there are lots of factors to figure in, but any advice is helpful to a "newbie" like myself.

I usually end up carrying pink squirrels, hares ears, pheasant tails, and midge larvae for the early season like this, unless they're rising, in which case match the hatch. Later in the season, my go to fly ends up being a #14-16 Adams, or a #8-10 hopper, and if they don't want to come up for that, its back to the pink squirrels. When were you planning on heading up, this has been my most fished stream in the Driftless for the past couple years.
