Default Wisconsin Steelhead Report?

I am heading up to Milwaukee to fish for steelhead on 11/8. Any Milwaukee River or Sheboygan reports?

There are very few steelhead around in the Milwaukee River. There are some fish around, and some browns and beat up Kings. The name of the game is rain right now an most of the rain in the area has been, unfortunately, south of the Milwaukee river drainage - it's been pouring in Chicago for almost 24 hours with no end in sight until 6 pm. It's time for Steelies in the river, just need rain to push more numbers. If you fish it hard, you'll find steel - just not big numbers. There have been some landed in the river.

I can't speak to the rivers north of the Milwaukee.

Good luck and tight lines.

Mike.

they are taking some rain this morning which is a good thing!

fished the sheboygan 2x's in the last month and both times we got a brown, no chrome yet though

as far as the milwaukee +1 on what chi flyfisher just said

at least there is a good amount of water coming down the Milwaukee

the sheboygan has been low but after today things should be kickin up

with the salmon almost gone, the crowds should be venturing out hunting or watching football

good luck, ill be out there the next few weekends

Thanks for the news. I have been watching the extended forecast, river flows and hoping for some rain before we get to town. I primarily have fished the Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Root and Sauk. I have a buddy in the Richfield area and I know he will be fishing more up in the Sheboygan/Sauk area. I will pass along anymore intel when I receive it.
Thanks again!!
