Having just recently moved I'm looking to get at some tributary fishing. I'm from Missouri and I've only done small stream fishing for trout. I've heard rumor of some excellent spring runs of steelies and salmon. But I'm not sure where to go or what the best tactics are. I'm primarily a nymph fisherman and I've read recently that those tactics work well. The weather is supposed to be nasty over the weekend so that may be an excellent time to hit the water. I live in Kenosha just 20 blocks from the Lake

Any and all advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking at some camping trips this early summer and I have read about the Wolf. Are there any rivers/streams closer?

Thanks
