Len: LMAO! That was great, I think you're out of luck, I haven't seen any octopus in Wyoming either! My wife loves watching the Food Channel!

if there is a mexican area in your town look for a carniceria. They carry all kinds of meat and octopus (Pulpos) is used in Sopa de Siete Mares (soup of the 7 seas).

Don't forget asian markets... they eat all kinds of sea food. The one near me has LIVE fish, shrimp, crabs, lobster, and I believe squid. As well as all sorts of butchered fishies and stuff.

I totally agree!! My wife and I have developed an obsession for cheese. (When I say obsession I mean OBSESSION!) We stopped at a awesome cheese shop in upstate NY and spent $70 before we got out of there, and didnt have a very many items to show for it.
But it was soooooo good!!!!!

Something I never thought I'd develop a taste for....all it took was one taste.

Thought I'd throw this in just for fun.
Me and the boy, Innes Jr, having lunch in Korea; Shrimp, pork fat, octopus in chili sauce, stem mushrooms, and bean sprouts. Hotter than shizzles and not for the weak. Check out those little octopus heads ready to be devoured. Good Stuff!!

You all are evil...your making me hungry! I love calimari, actually I love everything I've ever eaten that comes from the sea. I guess I'm going to have to go out on a party boat and do some deep sea fishing and hope I catch an octopus.

have some...

need to soak overnight in milk or pineapple juice to keep them from being like rubber.

Then going to marinade them.

Any suggestions on ingredients in marinade?
