While I'm sitting here enjoying a cup of some of Alaska's finest I thought I'd pass on some info about it.
Pam's parents finally drove to Alaska this summer after years of dreaming about making the long trek. They spent 3 months seeing the sites and taking it all in.
I believe they had even seen Ard as they told me of a tall, ruggedly handsome man catching fish after fish with no one else doing the same. I thought to myself that MUST have been Ard.
Anyway, they came across a coffee shop just down the road in Wasilla and decided to stop for a cup. While there they broused the shelves looking for a blend or two that they thought Pops and I would enjoy as he relayed his stories of the trip to me.(he and I are the only coffee drinkers in the family). They found a few to bring home and one especially made them think of me, it's called 'The Outhouse Blend', I'm not sure as to why they thought of me when they found it
, but in any case I am very glad they did.
If you want something new and very good, order a pound or two and give it a try. http://www.tundracoffee.com/
Look under 'medium roast' for the 'Outhouse Blend' to get a brief description.
I think I will be ordering some very soon, mine's almost gone.
