Default Pin Cushion OR Glow In The Dark?

I have been going to the doctor and getting xrayed or poked with numerous needles lately. Prior to today my back was the target but not today.

Today no xray but got poked twice in the left knee.

First was to removed fluid from my knee and the next was for the pain.

Sucks getting old.

Len, you know we could commiserate for days. Nevertheless, it still sucks. Hope you're on the mend and back at it soon. Still, three months after surgery, I'm struggling to get out of my walking boot and for my ankle to support me so I can get on some water - any water...

Kelly.

Seems that pain and suffering is the word of the day.....recovering from a Root Canal myself. But comparatively speaking I can't complain much.

I hear you, the last couple of years were tough on me but doing good now and hoping to stay that way for a little while. Hang in there and mend up good so you get back to it in good shape. Seems the longer we are around the more we fall apart.

in 1999 I injured my back while working as a carpenter in Northern CA. I was standing on a 2x6 wall pulling up a large floor joist (22' 2x12 I believe). When it got to the pivot point I was holding it and I turned to start sliding it across the previous joist to the other wall. Something kinda pinched in my back and that was it. I was now one of those guys (carpenter with a bad back).

2 weeks ago I hurt my back, it was the worst back pain and longest recovery I have had from a back injury since my accident in 1999.

How did I do it?

I leaned forward in my chair to grab some materials from my fly tying box.

I LEANED FORWARD IN MY CHAIR!

Yes, this getting old stuff sucks.

I feel for you Len. Suck doesn't it? I've been through an MRI enough times in the last couple of years, I'm surprised refrigerator magnets don't stick to me.

Dan: I think the wife has had 10 MRI's in the last 15 months!

Mudbug: That 1999 accident reminded me of myself, I hurt my back lifting and turning just like that a few years back, took six months to recover from that. The doctor told me that was the number one cause of back injuries.

Oh my goodness! She should be able to change channels on the TV by hicupping by now. I thought I had been nuked! I hope she will be OK.
