Default Good Beer = Jobs

Quote:
Currently, the 1,700+ small American breweries account for about five percent of all the beer enjoyed in the United States and 50 percent of brewery jobsó-totaling some 100,000 good-paying part- and full-time positions across the country.

Is an extra dollar or two per sixer too much?

I think not.

Not at all.
Always happy to help keep folks working by enjoying my fair share.

Cheers!

Nothing better than going around sampling the many microbrews made these days!

If you like the micro brews, you should make your own. I do and you can't beat the taste. I got a Mr Beer kit for Xmas last year and am now on my 7th brew. Easy to brew up on the stove top, pour in the keg, ferment, bottle, carbonate, cold condition, and then enjoy. It's not a quick process though...at a minimum for optimal flavor in most brews you looking at 2 weeks to ferment, 2 weeks to carbonate, and 2 weeks to cold condition in the fridge. It's well worth it though!!

Is it possible to do an N.A. microbrew? Probably not economically feasible, but I've not had a real beer since 1984. Sure would like to taste one... milt.
