I'm not a carper either, but they sure are strong. This one was 20" or better and completely incidental. It was mixed in with 22 rainbows yesterday, of which 13 were 16"+! No smallmouth this time though. Last Sat., same lake. Click the image to open in full size.

So I was highly confused there... nice smallie Milt, and pretty colors on the rainbow! And as far as carp go, they are some real tuggers! What were you fishing with? Carp in my area seem to love wooly buggers worked low and slow, like barbeque!

That's a California Striped Trout, gator.

Milt, that's a helluva lot of rainbows in one day, and quite a haul of big fish.

A question about this thread - is it going to be a "Theme for a Week(Month)"? It sounded like a fun idea. As it is now, it is just another thread for random pictures...which is fine, I like looking at other people's photos, just wondering.

Haha, Dean, you caught me before I was able to go back and realize the error of my ways and see that the "no smallmouth" comment was about the other photo. Darn

This photo would not qualify for Decembers POM as it was taken in November, but it do look wintry. milt.Click the image to open in full size.

November's theme was fall colors. Any suggestions for December's theme?

Sep, you'll have to come up with just a symbol to go by for a while.
