I will look for them! I have been grilling steaks for 40 years and never heard of them. If they are better than REs then I got to try them out. Thanks!

To each his own, but I find rib eyes superior to chuck eye steaks. Chuck eyes are close and a great substitute for the price, but to me at least rib eyes are more tender. I also find rib eye steaks more consistent in their quality, whereas the chuck eyes vary much more depending on how they are cut. If budget is a concern (which it usually is) then chuck eyes are the best steak for the price, IMO. Just don't cook them all the way to well done.

Don't get me wrong, they are a flavorful, tender cut that compare favorably to the higher priced steaks. Some have even called them a "poor man's rib eye".

Now give me any steak and I'll be happy- especially a porterhouse. yummm.....
