Yes the shuns are nice, and sharp...16 layers (each side) around a VG-10 core. Hardened to 61 on the rockwell, and sharpened to 16 deg on each side....Thin and somewhat brittle...Not a boneing type knife..LOL. Probably one of the best sliceing knifes I own...

simmering in crockpot

sausage/chicken/shrimp/clams/scallops/squid/octopus/okra/
roasted red pepper
garlic
one large yellow onion
chicken broth base
rice
celery flakes
pepper
spicy paprika
half can hot rotel

simmer 10 hours

eat with oyster crackers and rinsed down with multiple beers.

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves
3/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
3/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon dry white wine
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
Nonstick olive oil cooking spray
6 (6 to 8-ounce) salmon fillets
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Served with grilled Zucchini and Yellow Squash

I am hard core when it comes to BBQ. My wife cooked chicken in a crock pot with KC Masterpiece sauce and onions, all day. Ain't what I call Q but wern't bad on a sammich!
