Default Baby Backs on the 4th

I decided to stay home and smoke some baby backs for the kids and grandkids. I did three racks using a different rub on each. Have to say they all were good in their own way. Did some thick sliced loin chops and country style ribs as well. Here are some pics.

paymaster: Looks like a feast fit for a king! You and Len should do a cook off sometime! We took the family over to the Loveland Park to see the fireworks, stopped at KFC for some grub then got rained out with all the thunderstorms rolling through the Front Range so we went home early.

Hi paymaster,

Looks good and I am sure it was. I like Butt Rub on my ribs and pulled pork. Best commercial rub I have found. Make my own rub for Brisket.

. . . beef brisket? I thought we only did that in Texas! Sure you're living in Florida, Frank?

Hi Neil,

Even Texas has a few good things. I lived in Texas for a while and was a fan of the BarBQ. Smoked Brisket is definitely a state treasure.
