Happy Birthday Yatahey :frogdance
Yatahey in the old cowboy and indian movies had the chief riding up with his braves behind him, pulls his horse up to a hard stop raises his hand high and shouts YATAHEY. Just assumed it meant Hello or Greetings. Dave |
Re: Happy Birthday YAT!
Thanks guys. Fixin to go out soon for some BD libation and some rock & roll music at a local watering hole with some friends.
Ard, Dave is right Yatahey is a Navajo greeting. Next time you watch John Wayne's movie McClintock look for the scene where his old Indian buddy's are getting off the train at the station. You'll hear the old chief say Yatahey. |
Re: Happy Birthday YAT!
