Default Happy Tax Day!!

So who among us is scrambling due to procrastinating, and who is enjoying their favorite recreational activity. Myself I did mine back in Feb. So no nail biting searches for paperwork here

Also who does their taxes themselves and who uses a service or accountant. I use the Tax Cut software myself.

Done weeks ago.
We use a CPA for the official stuff but we do all the sorting and initial number crunching before taking the box of sorted receipts to him.

I've had mine done since back when I was painting contractor. Even though my wife and I are simply W2's these days I still have them done. He always gets us a return greater than what we pay, so to me it's well worth it. He's funny old hippie and is battling with the IRS over NOT filing electronically...he's holding out as long as possible. But next year I'll have to have a talk with him. I mailed my state return in in February and have not yet received our check! Kind of annoying.

Did mine yesterday.

I know that "Stop Procrastinating" book I bought was a big help! Now if I could only get around to reading it

LOL!! The actual reading is the hard part, buying it is just an impulse!

I understand. I graduated college with an accounting degree and mine are pretty simple so just doing them myself is no big deal.

Just finished an hour ago! By far the longest I have every waited...but the early season fishing here has been great and I couldn't get myself to sit down and do them any of the past Saturday or Sundays.
