Default Re: Whatcha listenin to?

I listen to music. No particular band, a variety of types. I like classical, rock, blues, jazz, country, bluegrass & some gospel. Just depends on the mood I'm in, and the stations I can get where ever I am.

Don't care for rap, hip hop, grunge or opera.

Does anyone have or listen to what is commonly called Space Music? I discovered it almost 21 years ago while listening to Echos with John Diliberto at night on Public Radio. pretty good stuff, the program is still running if you check your NPR station you may have access.
I used to listen all the time, had forgotten the name of the program. Also tuned in to Dr Dimento...The're coming to take me away he he ha ha

Tonight the family left me and went to the movies So it's the last of the kokanee and channel 813 on the tube, Folk Rock and an occasional flip over to the rat pack. Wish it was a double feature!

Here's a change of pace.

Albeniz; Asturias, played by Segovia.

Still working on learning classical guitar.

How someone like Segovia with fingers the size of a premium sausage can get such clean separation and intonation is beyond me.................

I saw them in 1989 at some place in Hollywood (I don't remember because I got stinking drunk) and they were great.

A guitar player I worked with lived accross the street from Perry Ferrel down on venice beach. He had a chicken for a pet that he would walk on a leash down the street. We asked him why he had a chicken for a pet and he said "It gives me breakfast every day".

That same guitar player also had a bit part in Perry Ferrel's movie "The Gift".
