Been listening and starting to like "some" of the country rap, primarly Jason Aldean's 1994, he seemed to start this country rap, and NO, I'm not a fan of rap per se. Some of his songs I relate to for some reason or another, other country artists have tried it, but don't care for 'em much.

Listening to the Black Keys got me turned on to Dan Auerbach's solo stuff. I really enjoy it!

Back in the '60s there was a local band lead by songwriter Big Al Anderson called the Wildweeds.
They had 2 regional hits. 1967's No Good TO Cry was covered by the Allman Brothers and When She Smiles was a top 40 hit for the Carpenters.

Big Al's written a lot of other songs that you've heard of too.

Little Miss Cutthroat, first track on CD titled: Fishing Music II
by Ben Winship & David Thompson!
Fly fishing inspired music of the Country/Americana genre!
Anyone else own or have listened the CD?

Well...I'm off to catch the evening hatch on a local stream as it's impossible for me to listen to any song on this CD and not have an incredible urge to wet a line.
