Default Best fish story ....

This is the best fish story I have ever had anyone tell me.

Back when I was much younger and living in Dillon Colorado, I had been fishing where the Snake comes into Dillon Res., and caught a few really nice Kokanee Salmon. I told this guy I knew that worked for a molybdenum mine in the area, who was a French Canadian. He said " You have Salmon here?!" I told hime we did. He asked "How big do they get?" I held my hands up and showed him. He tells me, "Yah we have Salmon about that big in Canada also." and then adds "How do you measure yours?" So I step right up and tell him from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. He gives me a "Pffhht! We measure ours between the eyes!"

I still laugh when I think about it.

Very Good Dan

When living in Hochatown, Oklahoma (just North of Broken Bow) there used to be a hand painted sign welcoming all the Texans on vacation.

"Take a big tick back to Texas"
