Blue Velvet is one of my favorites, best viewed late at night and alone, as you did -
Looking for some fishing themed movies, I was just streaming "The River Why" this morning and have 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" up next -
Some more recent viewings, "The Grey" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" -
semi-decent cgi animal fare.

Just watched classic with Jeff Bridges and Clint Eastwood "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot". Awesome! Saw Clint at the movies the other night in "Trouble With The Curve". 82 years young and he's still
Got it!

The last movie I watched was the Lonesome Dove miniseries with Robert Duval and Tommy Lee Jones.
If there was ever a better western ever made, I don't know what that was.
