Default Margaree River... Photos from my trip, very pic heavy

I went to the margaree in search of salmon this october gone by, trip was great, but the fishing was poor.
Although the scenery is amazing and over the course of the 7 days that I was there I witnessed the trees get more and more colorful, so here's a sample of this beautiful place.

What a nice river and location!! Did you fish only for salmon? I could imagine that in this river should be also good for trouts!?!?

I do believe it has some nice trout, a few members of my group caught some as by-catch as the trout season closed a few weeks prior.
One of the pictures is actually a neighboring river, the guy I was with caught 3 nice steelhead that still had sea lice on them!

This river is in the Cape Breton highlands of nova scoatia, 100% public water and some of the best salmon fishing in north america, although this year has been the worst in decades, let's hope for tight lines next season!

Some nice locale there.
Looks so peaceful and serene. Looked like a great day for fishing; cloudy with little wind.
Would love to go and give it a try sometime. Some long drive though.
