Default Re: ohhh.....beavers!

It took watching the video to really know if it was true or not.... I always felt like they were non-threatening and basically harmless, other than scaring the snot out of me with a tail slap every now and then. But then I don't go bugging them by following them around and trying to get close to them.

Regardless now I'm ruined, I'll be freaked out every time I see one.

That is crazy and sad that it killed a guy. I would guess that this is not a common practice for a beaver to attack, but then again I don't know never really looked into it.

Very interesting!
Thanks for sharing,
Watson

I believe that even if you were to search every post I ever made here you would find that I've never posted a picture of a beaver. Darn near everything else that could kill a fella but no beavers.

This guy lives in the pond at my camp
When I make an attempt to fish, I'll try to slip into my float tube as quietly as possible but he knows... and within a couple of minutes he's right there.
In the whole pond there's only one good spot to cast from shore and that's right from the top of his lodge.
... he real hates me.

Thanks for the heads up! A buddy and I were trying a pond that sees very few if any people a couple years ago and two beavers practically chased us around in our canoe...it was rather spooky.
